Custom Design Terms & Conditions
We love turning your ideas into wooden wonders! To keep things smooth, fun, and fair, here’s what you need to know before we get cracking:
Minimum Orders
A minimum order quantity (MOQ) applies to all custom designs and will be clearly communicated before production begins. This ensures the design process remains viable and affordable for both parties.
Design Fee
Some projects need a one-off design fee (based on complexity). Any fees will be agreed upon upfront before we sharpen our pencils.
Timeline & Approvals
We’ll provide an estimated timeline from design to dispatch & delivery. Please note:
- Design approval (in writing) is required before we proceed to production.
- Delays in feedback or approvals may affect delivery timelines.
Changes & Revisions
We love collaborating to bring your ideas to life, and feedback is a big part of that process. To keep things efficient for both sides, we aim to keep revisions streamlined and to a reasonable number—just enough to get it right without dragging things out.
If a project needs more time or rounds of tweaks than usual, we may need to chat about extra costs—but you’ll always get a heads-up first
Design Ownership & Intellectual Property
All designs, artwork, and content we create remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. Custom designs are made exclusively for your use, to sell through your agreed retail channels. We just ask for the right to show them off in our portfolio or on socials—unless you say no (in writing, of course).
Handmade Charm
Our kits are handcrafted from natural materials, so little variations in colour or finish are part of the magic. Quality’s still top-notch—we promise.
Cancellations
If you cancel before production, we’ll invoice for any work done so far. After production starts, full payment is required—no takebacks, as materials and time will have already been committed.
Shipping
Shipping is simple—we cap it at 10% of your order total, with no extra charges for customs, handling, or surprise fees. What you see is what you get.
The only exceptions are Hawai‘i, Alaska, and rural addresses, where shipping will be estimated and confirmed before dispatch.
Returns & Faults
Custom = made just for you, so no returns unless something’s genuinely wrong.
We stand by the quality of our products. If there’s an issue, please inspect your order on arrival and get in touch as soon as possible (and within a reasonable timeframe) & we’ll work with you to make it right.
We can’t offer refunds or replacements for change of mind, misuse, or where goods have been altered, mishandled, or used outside our guidelines.
Payment
Payment for the Opening Order will be made on fulfilment and can be done so via credit card or wire transfer. For future orders, the Customer may continue to pay at time of order in our Shopify platform. Payment types accepted for credit accounts are electronic funds transfer or credit card.
